Movie Review Time

While spending time in northern Utah, we were able to catch up on a few movies that we had been wanting to see. We are definitely very behind in watching movies this summer, because it's been nothing but getting Geoff ready for the BAR. So we have some catching up to do.

"Batman Dark Knight", was absolutely the best movie that I have seen in a long time. It was really dark, creepy, intense, and had a very powerful moral message in it. Geoff and I realized after walking out of the movie, that the majority of the people who have watched this movie, just won't get the underlying message to the movie. All they saw were the action scenes, violence, and cool gadgets. Heath Ledger did an amazing job as the joker....very convincing, and very creepy and comical at the same time. I recommend this to adults. Definitely not a kids movie

I went and watched "Mama Mia" with my friend Brenna, Megan and her mom. I am a HUGE fan of musicals and this didn't disappoint. I really liked it. It was so much fun, and made you want to get up and dance. I loved the music. My mother in law gave me a copy of the soundtrack. Fun for all!!!

Geoff and I are fans of the previous Mummy movies, but were a bit hesitant to see this one. We went with my parents to see this, so luckily for us, we didn't blow our own money on this, but felt horrible that my parents spend theirs. This was absolutely the worst movie that Geoff and I have seen in a long time. Words can't even begin to describe the problems with this movie. Don't waste your money or your time with this one.

Well, now you are a head of me!! Last I movie I saw was Indiana Jones. Maybe that's 'cause Shawn is anti social and hates crowds.

Also loved Batman. By far, the best movie I've seen this year.

Can't wait to get out for Mamma Mia... I need a girls night because Eric is never going to watch this one!

Thanks for the tip on the Mummy. Taylor really wants to go see it, so I'll tell him to go with a friend. He will like it because he loves the other mummy movies and he loved Indiana Jones even though Eric and I were totally disappointed in that one.

Thanks for the movie reviews, what a bummer that the Mummy wasn't good. We'll have to wait to rent the DVD and save our money.

So, congrats on the BAR!!! Where are you guys now? Are you still in WVC? We've been going non-stop all summer, but things are starting to wind down. If you are still around we would love to hang out. We don't have any phone numbers for you, do you have ours?

Hope to see you soon!
