Phoebee 13-15 Months old

I can't believe that Phoebee is now 15 months old. Time keeps going by so fast, when sometimes, I would like it to slow down a bit. She's getting more and more fun every day, and her personality is shining through.

She's to the point where she doesn't want to sit still, and wants to socialize and inspect everything around her. So, we took her to the nursery at church for the first time the other day to see how she would do. Like we suspected, she did great, and wouldn't have even noticed if we were gone. Catching the flu and a cold were the only draw backs from taking her in there, but I think that she'll love it.

She's still very short (5th percentile again) for her age. But this time around (at her 14 month check-up) she was "under-weight" (6th percentile). I am not too worried, because I know that she does eat - mostly grazes throughout the day. But to look at her, you wouldn't think that she's under-weight. I think she's just going to be a very petite person, and I love it.

She now says, "hi", "hey - hey you", "wow - OH wow", "shoe", "see", "num-num" (aka bottle), "bal" (aka her bear, Bean and Valentine, ball.....), "cheese", "num" (some), "no", "shhhhh" (when we are telling her no, or not to do something......that is her response....."shhhhhh"), and many other things, including adding on to her usual questions of the day "what's that", etc. Whenever I am changing her diaper, or we're doing something in her room (just the two of us), she will yell out "dad" just to make sure that he's still around since she doesn't see him during the day. She and her dad will yell back and forth to each other, and it's so cute.

Her personality is coming out more and more, and she's just so much fun. She likes to try and hide herself in small spaces, like in our TV stand, bookshelves or in the dog crate. Recently, with it being Christmas, she would crawl under the tree and hide in the corner and laugh at us, because she knew we couldn't reach her or crawl under the tree. So, we had to create a barricade around the tree to stop her. If she's not hiding herself in places, she's hiding items in the dogs travel-crate. I swear she must be part pack-rat, because I am finding numerous things in it every day because of her.

She loves tub time. She loves the dogs and will try and hold them or pick them up every now and then. She and the dogs will chase each other around the house, taking things away from one another. The dogs usually end up winning and she ends up crying about it. She loves music and dances whenever she hears it. She loves Sesame Street, especially Elmo. She loves to give kisses and hugs. The other day in the nursery, she picked up a baby doll, found a bottle and proceeded to feed the baby the bottle. I have no idea where she learned this, but she some how knew that this is what she should do.

Phoebee is such a joy and we can't get enough of her. We love our little munchkin!
