November was my month to host and have the girls over for dinner, card exchange and a craft. Unfortunately the whole day didn't go like I had planned. I ended up waking up at 4:30 that morning to horrible side pain that wouldn't let up. I finally caved in, and took myself to the ER. They did and ultra sound and found that I had A LOT of gal stones, and that my gal bladder would need to come out. The timing couldn't be worse. In only a few hours, I was to host an event, and over the weekend was TOFW. But they gave me some pain pills, sent me home and I finished making everything, while Geoff scrambled to help me clean the house up (thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!).
SIDE NOTE: I had my gal bladder out on November 16th, and everything went really well.
The night went off with out a hitch (aside from me being as high as a kite :}), although no one really worked on their craft, instead ended up visiting all night.....which was great. We were supposed to make burlap stockings, or any burlap project of your choice. Here's a picture of my completed project:
