{PHOEBEE'S ROOM}
This is a picture of Phoebee's room mostly finished. Still want to do a few things on the wall....it's a work in progress, just like the rest of the house :). The curtains, blanket, and bed skirt were all made by my mom.
{PATIO}
This was the biggest undertaking for the year. I put us under a deadline to get it done before Phoebee's birthday, and we did it!! We decided to put in a paver patio and lay some sod in a enclosed area for the puppies to run around in since we haven't been able to do all the landscaping yet. Geoff and I did this ourselves, and I must say, I think that it turned out great. I am very proud of us.
{QUIET BOOK}
I was asked to be in a Quiet Book group, and agreed to join, because I had been wanting to make one for Phoebee. I made 10 pages of the same thing, then we exchanged within the group. I then made a cover for all the pages. This was my first attempt at one, and had nothing really to go by as an example (winged it), but I think it turned out pretty cute.
I made a "Peek-a-boo" page. The mittens fold down to reveal a hidden pocket to put a picture or mirror in.
The final result. I found the fabric at Joann's and LOVE it.
{FURNITURE}
I have been wanting a new kitchen table/chairs for a while, but lets face it......things are so expensive. So I figured why not fix up what we have and find something to go a long with it. My mom got us 4 chairs for Christmas last year, which I LOVE, and I wanted a few more to go a long with them. One day, Geoff and I were driving around town and I saw out of the corner of my eye a place with furniture lined up out front. We stopped, and saw some chairs, tables, lamps....everything for really cheap. Most people would pass it by, because the coverings on the chairs were ugly, but I saw an opportunity to get the type of chairs I had been wanting for a while, and re-do them myself.

I did the same poly-stain on the legs of the chair. I got the fabric from Wal-mart. Total cost for the chair project (chairs and supplies) ended up being $30/chair.
I found a bottom cabinet/TV stand at D.I. one day for $25. We brought it home, I sanded it down, and applied the poly-stain to it, Geoff re-did the harware. I forgot to take some BEFORE pictures of it, but believe me, it looked rough!!!

{PILLOWS}
I decided to get some new fun fabric and sewed some new covers for the pillows on our couches.
{BOOK WREATH}
One of my friends had one of these in her house that I had been wanting to do for a while. Thanks to Super Saturday in my ward, I figured out how to do one. I ended up making several for Christmas gifts, and boy, do my fingers hurt. But I love how they turned out:
{HALLOWEEN CRAFTS}
Thanks to Pinterest and some of my own creativity, I got the holiday craft bug and made a few new things for the house. (P.S. - don't know what Pinterest is yet? Check it out: www.pinterest.com - warning....it's addicting ;)
My "I do believe in Ghosts" sign
Cardboard letters (from Joann's) wrapped in yarn - very time consuming, but cute nonetheless.
{CARD GROUP CARDS/TAGS}
My feeble attempts at making cards. I haven't take pictures of all of them, but this is what I did:
{WALL DECOR/PICTURES}
I finally got pictures of our family framed, and put them on the walls.
My mom found this at Home Depot. It's made from foam, and was white, but I painted it to go in our front room.
While my mom was in town helping take care of Phoebee while I was recovering from my gal bladder surgery, she made a bunch of cute ornaments for our tree. I then, did a few of my own, as well as some burlap stockings and a ornament wreath.
Well, there you have it. My 2011 projects. Until next year........
